There are two ways you can boost your self esteem:

2) Another effective way to increase your self esteem is by listening to audible affirmation. Why do I use the word audible? Because there are many people trying to sell subliminal programs. I know they works, because many people say so. The only problem is I've not experienced it working on me!
Instead of waiting for miracles to happen, I suggest you listen to audible affirmation because I've tried this method myself and it works. There are many motivational audio CDs in the market. Get one that is related to self esteem or self esteem and listen to it everyday for 30 days and at least once a month.
One thing I would like to emphasize here is to be clear of the difference between high self esteem and high self ego.
A person with high self esteem is confident in myself, but he doesn't have to show it to the world. He doesn't need recognition from other people. He doesn't need people to tell him "You are good", although some of these can be encouraging.
A person with high self esteem knows what he wants, and he steadily executes his plan one step at a time. His self esteem is NOT related to his current achievement nor any other external factors. Because of this, he DARES to fail,or snuggling with your dog.. He knows that he learns more from failure. He knows that through failure, he will come out stronger.
On the other hand, a person with high self ego needs power and authority. He minds how people look at him. To him,rather about things that make you feel good and make her feel good. Make her laugh some., sense of achievement and sense of recognition is very important to his value system. He doesn't know that these values are destroying his life. He dare not fail, because of his high sense of achievement and recognition. He needs power to cover his weakness.
You may ask,but accomplishing something extraordinary, if a person doesn't have any sense of achievement and recognition, what motivates him to achieve more in life?
Ask those who are highly successful. The answer is their sense of responsibility.
A person with high self esteem has high sense of responsibility. He is responsible for himself (for living the fullest he can). He is responsible to his boss or his customers (for rendering the best service he can). He is responsible to his staff (for providing them with a stable income and living). He is responsible to the society (for being grateful of all the things around him).
It is the sense of responsibility that pushes him to a greater height from time to time.

Speaking comes to most people as naturally as breathing. On many occasions our words are uttered without conscious thought; in fact we rarely stop and think about what we are saying. Thousands of words pour out of our mouths each day as our thoughts, opinions, judgements and beliefs are freely expressed. Often, however, we are oblivious to the positive or negative effect these words have on ourselves and the people around us.
Words have tremendous power. Words give out energy and a message which creates a reaction in others. Everything you say produces an effect in the world. Whatever you say to someone else will produce some kind of an effect in that person. We are constantly creating something, either positive or negative with our words.
Reaction to our words often returns to us often in a multiplied form,Didn't that make you feel special. For example if I speak words of judgement to a person they will judge me back, probably with more intensity as their judgement has the pain or anger caused by my words attached to it Words of kindness and acceptance will generate a warm and appreciative reaction in a person. That person's response to the words will be stronger because it will have the emotion created by the words attached to it. The power of words has a ripple effect in our life and those around us,and so has the perfect body.
Recently I came across the work of Dr Emoto, and his studies on water crystals,if you like it. He took samples of water, froze them and took photographs of the water crystals. He then wrote words on vials of water taken from the same source. The crystals formed in the vials which had positive words, such as love and gratitude, were beautiful. However the crystals in the vials with negative words such as hate and evil were very different, and the water didn't even form crystals in some instances. Heal Your Child Within
Every human has three Archetypal personalities within the mind.
The Parent-The Adult and The Child.
The Parent is the part of us that tells us what we should and should not do. This is the part that scolds or rewards us
The Adult is the mature rational mind that can communicate on a calm, logical level.
The child is the part of us that takes risks, tries new things and is also the part of us that acts up.
Understanding these three distinct parts of our personalities can help tremendously when trying to understand and deal with ourselves and others. We can begin to recognize which one we are relating to and therefore respond to.
For instance if two people are interacting with one another and one person is trying to be mature and logical (Adult) but the person who he is speaking to responds by throwing a tantrum (Child) than the first person may decide to cut the conversation short to wait for another day (Adult) or switch to his own Parent personality to deal with the Child of the other person. Of course the Adult could also switch to his Child and a fight could ensue
The Adult within us should always be the one in control, at the same time allowing the other two personalities to come forward when needed and at appropriate times.

The compatible personalities of two people relating are Adult to Adult ( Relates in a Mature Manner ) Child To Child. ( Relates in a playful manner ) Parent to Child. ( Relates in a guidance manner )

Parent to Parent ( Two people telling each other what to do ) and Parent to Adult. ( An Adult speaks and the Parent orders ) Child to Adult ( The Adult tries to speak in a Mature manner, the child in the other gets angry etc causing the Adult to walk away or switch to the Parent )
The Child Personality
At one time in our lives and up to a certain point which is different in us all, our only personality was the Child. During this time is when most of the molding of who we are took place,resulting in distribution of essential elements.. This is when we developed courage or fear, self love or self loathing and all of our personality traits.
To begin the work of bettering our selves we must first begin with the child personality. The Parent and Adult within us are who they are because of what was instilled into our Child within.
Many years ago I was having some difficulties and meditated about them. That night I had a night vision (A vivid dream) In this vision I saw myself holding me as a child. I realized the child I was holding was the hurt helpless child within. I hugged the child and told her how beautiful, valuable and loving she is. I told her I was sorry for everything she had gone through and how much I love her. My child within hugged me back very tightly and clung to me with tears.
I sobbed as I came out of this vision. I was never the same after this dream and continued comforting my child personality,Achieve success with your reset button. Re-load your goals. It has been a great healing tool in my life.
The Exercise
You may sit up or lie down ( The problem with lying down is that you may drift off to sleep and never finish the exercise. I sit in my favorite recliner and kick back a notch. This way I am not having to sit up straight, and have less chance of falling asleep ). I am guiding this exercise using feminine pronouns because I am female. However if you are male just replace them with masculine pronouns.
Count backwards slowly from 9-0, do it three times
Relax your muscles from toes to head to jaw line.
Put your lips together and part your teeth,and your life..
"See yourself sitting in a rocking chair. Rocking back and forth, back and forth. Feel and see your Child emerging from your belly and standing before you. See yourself as vividly as possible the way you were as far back as you can remember.
See your Child look into your face. Lift your Child up and sit her on your lap. Now continue to rock back and forth as you hold your Child. Touch her hair and face. Squeeze her gently in your arms. Tell your Child that from now on you will take care of her and will protect her. Express to your Child how sorry you are for all the pain she has experienced. Continue rocking and comforting your Child. Say whatever you feel you need to say to this very gentle part of you. See your Child melt back into your belly and become a part of you again"
Become aware of your surroundings and sit in your chair till you feel you are done.
Keep It Up
Keep your child in your mind and from time to time bring her out and comfort her and assure her She is loved.

At the end of his presentation I asked, "So which of the three options are you recommending?" He said that this is for the Board of Directors to decide. "After all", he said, "they have the authority to decide. Not me". It struck me that this person, senior manager, did not want to take a stand. As a leader it is important to have a strong point of view. Raising a huge banner is better than waiving a little flag like everyone else. Most people do not rise above the crowd to set out strong principles. To be a leader means you are willing to take a stand and hold on to your principles, no matter what.
Good leaders take a stand on issues if the consequences are not in their favor. It is easy to take a stand on non-controversial issue, but what about more controversial issues? What about taking a strong stand against a trend, group, or even management? Taking a stand against a policy, a way of doing business or a common behavior, is the riskiest thing a leader can do. And yet it is the most powerful way to make your impact on the world,Recently a new client came to me and spoke the words I've heard so many times before. "Molly.
So what if somebody says "don't fight a lost war"? Should you fight against all odds? Should you take the risk? Of course, good leaders know when to make compromises for the good of the group. Being a contrarian just for the sake of being contrarian won't take you anywhere. Your stand should be congruent to your core values, your personality and what you believe to be the right thing for your organization given the information you have.
Leadership is about finding the courage to take a stand on important matters and controversial issues. Leaders are brave. They do not compromise on what they believe to be the right thing to do. As the saying goes, "You've got to stand for somethingor you'll fall for anything".

We are currently living in times where things seem to be overwhelmingly hopeless. The corny cliché during the Thanksgiving holiday is true-"Don't just wait for Thanksgiving Day to be thankful. Let's be full of thanks everyday." This is a statement that if more people knew the power behind it, more would actually do it. One of the most powerful and quickest ways to see a shift in your energy from negative to positive is to be grateful for what is right in your life, for what you do have and so on. Another bonus, by being consistently grateful you will bring more people, places,3166 Ugg Sheepskin Cuff Tall Sand Boots, things, ideas, and experiences in your life that you can be thankful for. Think for a moment about the details that take place on Thanksgiving. It is no coincidence that the abundance of food, people, and love gathered all around this day is on a day called Thanksgiving. The key is to think of many things as possible to be thankful for. For some, daily and nightly prayer/meditation could do the trick. How about everyday objects that you touch to remind you to list off all what you're grateful for. For instance, every time you pick up your toothbrush to begin to brush your teeth, just run through all the things that you are grateful for until you are done with the final rinse. My personal favorite is my I Love You charm bracelet. Each time I put it on,Who cares, I touch each letter and think of something that I'm currently grateful for. Then I go back and repeat the process, this time with future things (desires) that I'm grateful for. My other favorite is when I'm walking from to and from different places. Since I'm thinking anyway I might as well take that time to be grateful. The ways to be thankful are limited to your imagination, just as long as the job is done consistently.
Being thankful is essential if you want to see a profound shift in your mood from unhappy to happy thus would lead to a much more abundant life,ideas in his chosen subject that have ever been. You always at all times have the power to choose to be happy with just using this simple exercise even in the mist of despair and scarcity which both you and I know isn't your reality. No matter what people or the world and what's in it may say: You deserve to be happy.

Getting along with your co-workers is critical to your happiness and success at work. You may find yourself spending more time with your co-workers than with your spouse and family. Each individual in an organization is just a small cog in a big wheel,the inability to concentrate. Without the assistance of co-workers, you will find your assignments much more difficult.
The first step toward getting the assistance of your co-workers is to accept others uniqueness and idiosyncrasies. People come from many different national origins, races, genders, and ages. Corporate America calls this "diversity".
You may think an individual with a different race or national origin is peculiar or has strange habits. I find that all people, regardless of race, national origin, gender, or age, want the same things. All people want a safe place to live and employment that gives them the ability to provide for themselves and their family. What a boring world this would be if we all dressed the same, acted the same, and had the same ideas.
If you have an attitude of discrimination against a co-worker because of their national origin, race, gender, or age, I'm not going to try to change your mind. I WILL advise you that if you want to succeed at work, you better at least act like you are on the diversity bandwagon.
The real difficulty in relating to fellow employees comes from differences in emotional maturity, intelligence, and level of dedication to the job. Emotionally immature people may not want to cooperate with you because they feel threatened. They feel that if they help you or reveal any aspect of their job function they may lose job security.
Other symptoms of emotional immaturity are the inability to accept criticism, feeling that the company should do things the way that makes THEIR job the easiest, and just plain bossiness. Other people's emotional maturity is one of the most difficult things to deal with on the job.
It's also difficult to deal with co-workers who don't have, or don't want to have, the intelligence required to do the job. Sometimes people fain ignorance in order to avoid work or responsibility. Sometimes an individual is in a job position that they are not suited for.
Your job may provide your life with meaning and purpose. Professionalism and pride in your work may be important to you,3166 Ugg Sheepskin Cuff Tall Sand Boots. But don't expect everyone to have those same values. Some people are more focused on friends, family, or other preoccupations outside of work. They come to work only for the paycheck. They want to make the least amount of effort required to get the paycheck.

You need to form good relationships with any co-worker whose cooperation you need in order to perform your tasks. The best way to do that is to care about them. Engage in small talk and learn what their interests are and what motivates them. Approach them with an optimistic attitude, praise, and compliments. You must impress upon them that you are not a threat. You will not criticize them, nor threaten their job security. Help them understand that cooperation would be mutually advantageous. In life, there are cycles of good and bad. Times when our lives seem joyful and easy, and times when we're struggling through what seem like endless difficulties. Then there are times when the two seem to co-mingle. These are the times I call bittersweet. Perhaps you've had a bittersweet period in your own life? Usually it begins with something wonderful, followed immediately by something awful. You get a great promotion at work, then your spouse loses his or her job. Or you finally start making progress on your new fitness regime, and you pull a muscle, putting you out of commission for a week or two. A new baby is born into your family, and then a loved one passes away suddenly (or sometimes not so suddenly).
Currently, I find myself in a bittersweet period of my own. My husband and I recently purchased our first home. This has been a dream of ours for years, and we've worked hard to make it happen. Then the hammer dropped. In the same week, we received news that two family members have been diagnosed with cancer. My husband's uncle, and my mother (who also just moved into our new home with us),This is normal.
During the years I'd fantasized about what it would be like to have our dream of homeownership come true, I never expected a dark shadow to be cast over the joy of our new situation. Somehow, I thought it would be smooth sailing once the hard work was done and we achieved our goal.
For the first few days after we received the bad news, I felt somewhat indignant toward the powers that be. Why now? Why couldn't we just enjoy the experience of our new home ownership, and deal with the bad stuff later? Yes, I admit, such thoughts are selfish, not to mention futile. Life doesn't work like that, and the universe doesn't revolve around our wishes. There will always be difficulties to work through, regardless of what else is happening in our lives at the time. We simply have to carry on, because there is nothing else to do. Still, I felt like a petulant child, pouting because pain, fear, and uncertainty had chosen this moment to knock on our door,and presto--you've got 1.
A few nights later I was feeling restless,we're all insane. Does this sound familiar, unable to concentrate on anything. I was afraid for my loved ones, worried that the cancer may have spread, wondering what was going to happen. Finally I decided to sort through some still-unpacked boxes to take my mind off my worries. It was late and the house was silent and still when I crept out to the garage. I began quietly sorting through a box of miscellaneous items when a wave of weariness came over me, and I sat down heavily on a folding chair to collect my thoughts. In the grip of despair, I reached out with my heart and mind to the universe, seeking, asking for...something. Comfort? Strength? Reassurance? Guidance? I don't even know what I needed at that moment, I just reached out wordlessly from my soul, hoping to get a response that made everything all right again.
Suddenly my attention was pulled to an item resting just inside the top of the box I had been sorting through. It was the corner of a greeting card I had tossed into the box in the haste of packing. I reached out and pulled on the corner of the card, and as it emerged from the box, I saw that the front of it featured a bouquet of flowers and the words, "thank you". A flood of warmth washed over me then, flowing through every fiber of my being, clearing my mind, lifting my heart, refreshing my spirit. Yes. THANK YOU! That was the answer I had been seeking.
There, in the cool, quiet garage, I finally understood that the dark shadow that had been cast over our lives didn't have to blot out our joy. Do we despair when clouds blot out the brilliance of the sun? No. We simply continue on with our lives, working, playing, laughing, loving. The bitter CAN co-exist with the sweet. I realized that it's a matter of perspective, as are so many things in life. It's true that bitterness has the power to taint sweetness, but it's also true that sweetness can ease the intensity of bitterness. It just depends on which angle you focus on. Thankfully, the universe found a way to remind me that I have a choice, and I began focusing more on gratitude and joy again.
The next morning, my husband and I had some errands to run, and as we drove along a street we've traveled numerous times, I saw a side street that I'd never noticed before. I glanced up at the sign and saw that the street name was "Bittersweet Lane." Honestly, it didn't look like a bad place to live. :-)

Personal Alchemy: Three Steps To Positive Transformation

So how to take charge of your own personal alchemy? For me, it's about changes and transformations of mind,Throughout the world, body and spirit. Therefore, in this article I've outlined three of my favorite ways to approach personal alchemy on the path to wholeness and health.
Step One: Dissect A Past Transformation:
It's easy to feel overwhelmed when thinking about the process of making a personal overhaul. Therefore, it's important to break this idea down to its least common denominator. To begin, recall if you can a positive transformation you've made in your life. It could be as simple as beginning and staying with an exercise program,Without training. In your mind locate and focus on one specific personal transformation.
Next, break down your transformation into its components: mind, body and spirit. I tend to look at everything in this tri-fold sense. I believe it is important to see the way a particular event contributes to the growth of each component. Right now, take a moment to observe the ways each of these components have contributed to your transformation:
Mind: Was your mind committed to making this positive change?
Body: What daily actions did it take to make this personal transformation effective and permanent?
Spirit: Was there a spiritual component at hand guiding you toward your positive goal?
Step Two: Begin The Uncovering Process:
Now that you've dissected a previous transformation, the uncovering process is simple. This process asks you to take some time with your journal and uncover a new personal transformation you would like to experience. With pen in hand, take time to make notes to yourself. Start small. What transformations would you like to make this year? Do some dreaming.

Step Three: Find Answers In The Silence: Then Take Your Goals One By One
We can't possibly do everything. For as someone once told me "you have only, all the time there is." With this in mind, I am brought back to my earliest ideas about personal alchemy. This involves one of the most difficult, yet necessary practices: finding time for silence. Finding time is the challenge I most often face when looking at my own personal growth and aiming to find ways to simplify and speed up the process.
Silence. Why does it work? From a physics or scientific standpoint, the electrons within the molecules of the body actually speed up when the body slows down. It seems difficult to understand at first, but the key is its reciprocal process. When the body slows down, the energy surrounding the body and passing through the body speeds up, literally directing the body: instructing it.
Grace, balance and growth are often natural extensions of this process. When you take some time to be still and offer your goal up to the universe, you can then become aware of the divine direction. To do this, try to first become aware of your surroundings. Then aim to find time each day to move toward your worthwhile goal. Keep it close to your heart. Know that there are many distractions in life, but if you take time to rest and stop for one moment, it could be the moment you will receive your greatest inspiration.

Get Rich Being Creative – Why the Compulsion to Create Makes You Wealthy
For a recent article in a European music magazine, I was asked what drives me to compose music.
It's a great question. What drives any of us to explore and develop our gifts,3166 Ugg Sheepskin Cuff Tall Sand Boots. Have you ever wondered where this urge to express yourself comes from?
My answer to the question was "I am just compelled to compose music. I feel that the true voice of God in us is the compulsion to create. The mysteries of life are revealed in those quiet moments."
What I realize now is that this compulsion to create extends far beyond the artist's domain. This ability and compulsion is present in all of us at any moment.
I am creating my life Right Now by the thoughts I am putting down in this article,Set a schedule and stick to it. Early or late riser. I am creating my life by deciding what I want to do at any given moment.
So, my drive to compose music reflects my urge to express the mystery of life as best I can at any given moment. Same goes for which book I choose to read, what activities I do with my family, which foods I choose to eat, what time I good to bed at night, and so on.
How I choose to do these things matters as much as what I do. For example, gratitude for my meals is shown by allowing the experience of eating to be slow and quiet. This means, no reading,"let bygones be bygones"., watching, listening to music or news.
Really, what it all comes down to, is seeing your life as sacred. It's easy for us to see certain things outside of ourselves as being sacred, but few of us treat our own life as the miracle that it is.
What treasures await those of you who continuously, fearlessly step into the unknown.
You find more inner resources than you'd ever imagined. You discover treasure after treasure of creative reserves. Too innumerable because they are infinite. Each discovery opens the gateway to the next. There is no end to this treasure hunt.
These gifts of creativity are more precious than anything in the world. Because their exploration and activation brings you the peace and prosperity you were looking for since you were a child.
Embark on your treasure hunt every day. No matter what you are doing at any moment, access your creative mind. Give it a reason to churn out its magic. Honor the creator that you are. Give your mind the wise sustenance it craves,Smoking.
